    Perfect cozy getaway

What a fantastic escape! We stayed in a King Room Garden View, where the sunsets were just ridiculously beautiful. The social hour with wine and snacks was a blast, connecting with other guests was really nice. Just wish the breakfast timings could've been a bit more flexible. Overall, such a lovely spot to chill out!

    luxurious inn
    limited meal flexibility

    A spectacular stay at sunrise

From the first moment, we were enchanted by the beautiful woodwork and expansive windows that framed the serene surroundings. The hospitality of Dave and Trudy was unparalleled, making every moment feel special. We loved winding down at the nightly wine and cheese hour, which fostered delightful conversations and laughter. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind under the stars after a day of exploring the tranquil trails on the property.

The only slight drawback was the minor challenge of coordinating meal times, as we sometimes wished for a more flexible schedule. However, the delicious breakfast spread made it worth the wait.

    breathtaking views
    friendly atmosphere
    rigid meal timing
    limited outdoor activities
    cooler weather

The breathtaking views from the Secret Garden room, featuring private patio access, were a significant highlight, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery over Lake Wisconsin. The friendly dogs added a heartwarming touch to the experience, making me feel at home. While breakfast was a delightful affair, the meal timing was slightly rigid, which occasionally disrupted the flow of the morning. Furthermore, some outdoor activities were limited during cooler weather, which may have affected plans to enjoy the property fully.

Check-in process felt sluggish!!! Brighten up the exterior at night to avoid stumbling in the dark!!! A bit more transparency about the presence of dogs would be appreciated.

We loved exploring the beautiful property! The wooded trails were perfect for our family hikes, and the sunroom was an amazing spot for birdwatching. Trudy's breakfasts were a hit, especially the delicious pancakes that our teenagers couldn’t get enough of!

My kids wished for more activities tailored just for families.

    king room
    garden view
    slow check-in
    rigid timing

I had a lovely stay at the Inn at Wawanissee Point in the King Room Garden View. The breathtaking views over Lake Wisconsin from my room were a highlight. I enjoyed sitting on the private patio, soaking in the scenery in the morning light. The cozy fireplace added a nice touch for cooler evenings. The social hour with wine and cheese was a fantastic way to unwind and connect. However, the check-in process felt slow, leaving me a little impatient after a long drive. I also noticed that the breakfast timing could be a bit rigid, which disrupted my morning flow occasionally. Despite these minor inconveniences, the delicious breakfast options made up for it. The location is peaceful, perfect for hiking and relaxing, though some outdoor activities felt limited due to the cooler temperatures. I loved having the dogs around. they were friendly and made the atmosphere feel more homey. Overall, this inn is a great getaway, but there are some areas for improvement.
